Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using HostDeck Store VPS hosting services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service for violations of this policy.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use your VPS to engage in any of the following activities:

  • Illegal activity — any activity that violates applicable law or regulation.
  • Malware — creating, distributing or hosting malware, viruses, worms or other malicious code.
  • Phishing — attempting to fraudulently obtain sensitive information such as credentials or financial data.
  • Fraud — any deceptive or fraudulent activity, including financial fraud or identity fraud.
  • Unauthorized access — attempting to access systems, networks or data without authorization.
  • Network abuse — conducting DDoS attacks, port scanning of other systems, or other abusive network activity.
  • Spam — sending unsolicited bulk email or other unsolicited communications.
  • Copyright infringement — hosting or distributing content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Harassment — threatening, harassing or abusing other individuals.
  • Credential theft — stealing or misusing credentials, tokens or access information.
  • Resource abuse — using your VPS in a way that negatively impacts other customers or the infrastructure.
  • Activities prohibited by applicable law — any other activity that is prohibited by the laws of the relevant jurisdiction.

3. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you host on your VPS and for ensuring that it complies with applicable laws and this AUP. We are not liable for content hosted by our customers except where required by law.

4. Monitoring and Enforcement

We may monitor usage to the extent necessary to enforce this AUP and to protect the security and integrity of our infrastructure. If we identify a violation, we may take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating your service, without prior notice in cases of serious violation.

5. Reporting

If you believe a customer is violating this AUP, please report it to us through the contact page. We will investigate reports in a reasonable manner.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent changes. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
